Widener University is hiring: Assistant Professor of Biology (12578 hits)


The Department of Biology at Widener University seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in microbiology and immunology or a related field to begin August 27, 2020. Teaching responsibilities will include upper-level microbiology for biology majors, upper-level courses in the area of the candidate’s specialty, and introductory microbiology lecture and laboratory courses for nursing majors. Candidates must have a high potential for undergraduate teaching and are expected to engage undergraduates in an active research program. Laboratory space is available in our modern biology facilities. The successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. by May 2020, although 1-2 years postdoctoral experience is preferred.
